Going down to Georgia

The state of Georgia offers much in the way of attractions for adventure seekers, leisure travelers and private bus visitors interested in learning about the Peach State's history. A great way of moving in and around Georgia is with a bus, coach bus, party bus, private bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Private Bus. Travel in comfort and style in your private bus from the Blue Ridge Mountains to downtown Atlanta, as you sample some of the best private bus attractions and destinations in Georgia.
Stone Mountain, located just a short private bus ride outside of metropolitan Atlanta, is where a natural wonder has been enhanced by human creativity to generate one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state. Stone Mountain could be a private bus attraction all by itself since it is the largest piece of exposed granite in the world. The mammoth carving of three heroes of the Confederacy to the 7.5 billion cubic feet of rock and the adjacent park activities has only only increased the site’s attraction. Every night a laser light show is projected onto the carvings with musical accompaniment, telling the history of Georgia and the triumphs of her Civil War heroes. The park also offers activities like a cable-car ride to the top of the mountain, rides on trains and a riverboat, a 4-D movie theater and 65 interactive games at the Great Barn.
For a close up look at some of the proudest fighting men in the U.S. Army, take your private bus over to the 6th Cavalry Museum. Located at the regiment’s original parade ground, the 6th Cavalry Museum tells the story of the "Fighting Sixth" Cavalry stationed at Fort Oglethorpe between the First and Second World Wars. Private bus visitors will find uniforms, weapons, photos, accoutrements and exhibits that showcase the activities of the regiment during the Civil War to World War I on display, and the museum itself is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Self guided tours of the museum are available, and private bus visitors will get the chance to see a Cobra Gunship helicopter and an M-48 Patton tank up close.
Private bus visitors wanting a taste that refreshes should stop at the World of Coca-Cola for a private bus visit. Paying tribute to an authentic Georgia born product, the World of Coca-Cola has a soda fountain where visitors can taste over 60 different Coke products that are sold around the world. Another popular exhibit is the 4-D theater. A token given to every guest as they watch how the bottling assembly line works is a free 8 oz. bottle of Coke. This three-story high museum has exhibits that tell the story of how the famous soft drink was invented, and includes exhibits on its history, advertising campaigns, and other Coca-Cola memorabilia.
If you’re planning a visit to Georgia anytime soon, trying renting a private bus to simplify your transport logistics. Renting a private bus is a wonderful, fuss free way of seeing some of the best of what the state of Georgia has to offer.
